Unboxing and ReviewsListen to what these YouTubers had to say about Liberty 4.
My hopes were very high after reading raving reviews, I'd say they are 80% right :)
They didn’t fit my ears, they were falling out all the time so I had to return them. I may have strange ears though
This is my third pair of Soundcore earbuds
Life P2 Noise Reduction, IPX7 Waterproof earbuds, Life P3 Noise Cancelling Earbuds, and now Liberty 4, Noise Cancelling Earbuds, Each have got more expensive but also have had a step change in quality of sound and features. These have better even petter noise cancelling and spatial audio.
The dynamic Spatial Audio is amazing, adjusting the sound balance as you turn your head so the music always comes from the same direction. they are hard to fault although there are so many features that you need to use the app to control them.
The Heart Rate Tracking is a bit of a gimmick particularly as the data doesn't integrate with Google fit. I suppose it's little extra to do given the gyroscopes in the headset,
For me, these have been perfect. I have a number of Soundcore buds (Liberty Pro 2 & 3) and a raft of other ones and these are hands down the best so far.
Comfort - I always struggled a little bit with the Liberty 2 & 3 pro's causing discomfort with the "ear wings" after wearing them for a period of time. I could just never get the fit to be perfect. These however are super comfortable and I can wear them for hours at a time without any discomfort.
They sit nice and snug in the ear and are fairly secure, I don't worry about them falling out but maybe occasionally have to re-seat them a little as the ear seal moves a tad impacting noise cancelling.
The sound quality on these is just as good, if not better than the Liberty 3 pro's and the ANC is better hands down.
Call quality seems fine, I've had no complaints using them on Teams/Zoom or for phone calls.
One feature I like is the Squeeze control instead of the touch controls. I always used to accidentally activate the touch controls on the Liberty Pro 3's when just doing basic things like adjusting their fit or adjusting a hat. As you have to squeeze these for the different functions, this seems to no longer be an issue.
I think that for the price point, these are very tough to beat.
