  • Why is the sleep detection data inaccurate?
Your sleep report is given using the data gathered from your earbuds. Sometimes the earbuds can misinterpret certain activities as you being asleep or awake. For example, if you’re wearing them and sit still for a while or you just leave your earbuds out of the case for a prolonged period of time, it may interpret this as sleep. The soundcore app would then use this data in your sleep report, therefore distorting your sleep curve.
  • Why is there no sleep data?
    How sleep detection works:
The earbuds judge whether the user has fallen asleep by their movements. If within half an hour, the user barely moves, the earbuds determine that they have fallen asleep and generates sleep data. If they often move around while sleeping, it may cause the earbuds to misjudge that they are still awake, so no sleep data will be recorded.
    1. Open the soundcore app, log in, and connect the earbuds to synchronize data before sleeping (do not put the earbuds back in the case or turn them off after syncing).
    2. Make sure you have good signal. Sleep data may take a while to display due to bad signal.
    3. Keep the app and firmware up to date.
  • The sleep reminder doesn't work after I open it. What should I do?
You need to keep the app active in the foreground for a prompt. You will only get a prompt on your phone not on the earbuds.
  • Sometimes the alarm doesn't go off after I've set one. What should I do?
The alarm only repeats once and the alarm turns off once you put the earbuds back in the case or when you turn it off yourself. You need to set a new alarm each time you want to turn it on.

    2. Pause it via the soundcore app.
    3. The alarm will not go off again after it has been paused.
  • How do I check how much battery is left?
    1. After the earbuds are paired with the soundcore app, you can check it via the app.
    2. When the earbuds are in the charging case, the three lights in the charging case blink:
    - When three LED lights are white, the case is on more than 70% battery.
    - When the left two LED lights are white and the right LED is off, the case is on 30%-70%.
    - When the left LED is white and the right two LED's are off, the case is on 5%-30%.
    - When the left LED blinks and the right two LED's are off, the case is on less than 5%.
  • How do I know if I've paired the earbuds successfully?

    • When the earbuds are pairing with my phone, the sound comes through my phone. What should I do?
You can check whether the earbuds are in sleep mode (you may have touched the left earbud by mistake and double-tapped to enter sleep mode). In sleep mode, the earbuds can only play white noise, but cannot play Bluetooth music.
    • The sound quality is poor when using them in music mode. What should I do?
      You can do the following:
      1. Try setting a different EQ via the soundcore app.
      2. Reset the earbuds as follows:
Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Press and hold the button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on the case flash white 3 times and then flash in sequence. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.
      3. Try using a different sound source or music app.
    • The sound quality of the white noise is poor. What should I do?
      1. Update your software to the latest version via the soundcore app.
      2. Try using different white noise in the soundcore app.
    • The noise cancelling effect of these earbuds is not working well. What should I do?
soundcore Sleep A10 does not support active noise cancelling. If the Smart Volume Control effect isn't up to scratch, try a different size of ear wings and eartips. Also try to make sure you're wearing them correctly.
    • The notification volume is too loud. What should I do?
You can turn off the notification tone in the soundcore app.
    • The volume is too low. What should I do?
Volume adjustment is different in the two modes:
      1. When using them in sleep mode, the volume of the white noise just can be adjusted via soundcore app.
      2. When using them in music mode, you need to turn on volume synchronization via the settings on your mobile phone.
    • There is a stethoscope effect when wearing the Sleep A10 earbuds. What should I do?
Please try different sizes of ear wings and eartips and also adjust the wearing angle of the earbuds.
    • Does soundcore Sleep A10 support calls?
soundcore Sleep A10 has no mic for calling. When wearing these earbuds for calls, you will be able to hear but you will have to use an external mic.
    • What should I do if Sleep A10 earbuds can't pair with the soundcore app?
      1. Pair the earbuds with your phone. Currently, the soundcore app is not available for computers.
      2. Open the soundcore app, choose Add Devices > Headphones, Speakers, and Frames, to find your device.
      3. If you cannot find Sleep A10 in the list, please choose Set up Manually > Sleep > Sleep A10.
      4. If you cannot find Sleep A10 in the list, please update the app to the latest version (3.0.1 or above). Alternatively, you can uninstall then reinstall the soundcore app.
If the problem still persists, please contact us and let us know which version of the soundcore app and phone model you're using so we can further assist you.
    • How do you download white noise?
Download white noise in music mode. Please note: You can't download white noise in sleep mode and importing third-party audio sources is not supported.
    • It's taking a while to download white noise. What should I do?
      You can do the following:
      1. Don't play music or use your phone while downloading.
      2. Make sure your Wi-Fi is working well.
    • What should I do when the white noise has an unnatural loop?
We suggest you try some different white noise which you can find in the soundcore app.
    • How do I set an alarm?
      1. Connect the headphones to your phone, open the soundcore app, and click on Sleep A10.
      2. Click the Settings button in the upper right corner.
      3. Click "Add alarm" to set an alarm clock (you can set up to three alarms).
    • How do I snooze or turn off the alarm?
      1. Firmly double tap the left or right earbud to pause.
After pairing with a phone successfully, the two lights in the charging case flash slowly.
    • How do I clean the earbuds, ear tips, and ear wings?
You can use a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol to clean them.
    • What is the waterproof rating for Sleep A10's?
The earbuds are IPX4 water resistant.
The charging case is not waterproof.

Loses connection with Bluetooth

Loses connection with Bluetooth every night. And the phone is next to me. So I can't snooze the alarm and no sleeping records.

Sound is good and it is a big plus that you can first listen to favourite music/meditation app/ or whatever you want.

Good replacement of Bose.

Although not as good as the Bose sleep pods these are a good replacement. Only problem not very loud . But there are doing the job and lasting 8 hours over night. I don’t care about playing my own music just the rain sounds they come with. No trouble now charging so far. Also these are so much cheaper.

Finally, comfortable earbuds for side sleeping and decent sound

I have been looking for a set of earbuds that suit a side sleeper, like myself for a long time and came across these, which, at a reasonable price, seemed worth a go.
I was amazed, when opening the box, at how small the earbuds are. Really Tiny, hardly bigger than a few grains of rice. Incredible they can fit a battery, all the hardware and the speaker in such a small container.
Each earbud is covered by a changeable (depending on what size you require) silicon sheath, with makes them easily accessible in and out of ear. Also, there is a choice of seals, which are easily changed, again, depending on what size you need.
The earbud live inside a quite big round case, when you take into account their size. Presumably to contain a large battery. But it is a nice pearl white colour and a lot nicer to the eye than most earbud cases I've seen.
In ear, they are comfortable and if you follow the instructions as to to wear them, they will fit in snugly and stay in, not causing any issues for side sleepers. The only times I've had an issue is when I didn't insert and twist (as per instructions) and the buds weren't sat properly. But, do as it says and it's is good.
These are not Noise Cancelling earbuds. Given the size, if they were, the battery life would be so short, they be useless. Instead they rely on a tight fit, thus blocking most external noise and then, with either inbuilt music/nature sounds or your own audio choices, complete the job of cutting out unwanted racket.
Battery life is variable, depending on what you do with them.
If just playing inbuilt music/nature sounds, then the can go about 8 hours before one or both bud battery dies.
If playing your own audio, about 4 hours, give or take. I know this because I woke up early the other day and turned them on to listen to an AFL game from Australia and they didn't quite make it to the end of the game. One earbud going flat before the other. Good news is that even when one goes flat, the other carries on until it's own battery demise.
This makes sense as they are using more power with bluetooth connecting to your Android/Apple gadget of choice, whilst if running in sleep mode, it cycles through a downloaded music piece, thus using less power.
Either way, when you consider the size, not bad.
TO operate the earbuds, you double tap the right to start/stop play and the left to choose between sleep mode (which plays the downloaded clip) and Music mode, which plays whatever audio you choose on the linked gadget., be it music, audiobook, etc.
The sound itself if pretty good considering the size.
So, hardware: Top marks.
Now to the firmware/software.
First of all, in order to get the most out of these earbuds, you need an Android/Apple gadget, be it a phone, tablet or similar. I sue an out of date phone which I use at home as a spare MP3 player just running it on wifi.
Once you install the Soundcore app, all you need to do is open the earbuds case, and pair them to your gadget.
On the app, you get a choice of "Sleep mode" audio clips to download to the earbuds. This clip will play when choosing sleep mode. Some have soft music, (the sort you get in new age shops),some are just nature sounds. As It totally hate the new age music clips, I have not even bothered with those so I will only comment on the nature sounds.
They are a bit hit and miss, TBH. Being so short, possibly given the size of the hardware, the ones with bird songs, etc, are too repetitive and I found myself listening out for the repetition without knowing and thus not being able to get to sleep, so in the end, I only play the rain/stream/thunderstorm sounds, which are better, albeit, I can't really tell the difference between some of them.
There are sliders for volume and a simple EQ. No need to explain these, as they work well enough.
You can set an alarm, but:
1. I haven't tried this yet
2. I don't know if it would work if one or both earbuds go flat before the time comes
3. Not obvious how to set it
The Sleepbuds somehow monitor you movement as you fall asleep and are meant to record how long you sleep. How I am not sure, but anyway, so far in the past week, they've only captured my sleep info for two nights. Not sure what use it is, except for techno nurds who like that sort of thing, but it splits the data into: awake, deep and light sleep. Looks totally pointless to me, still, if it rocks your boat......
Playing your own audio is a breeze, you set the earbuds to music mode by double tapping the let earpiece or via the app, then play whatever you want you linked gadget and let them do their magic. So far, not lost the connection at all, so no worries there. I assume, just like in sleep mode the audio stops when the buds sense you're asleep as there is no sound when I wake again.
Anyway, to cut long story short, I'm pretty impressed with these so I would recommend. How long they last, well, it's early days yet, so who knows? Ultimately I suspect it'll come down to how long before the batteries fa...
